KMI Strong Motion Analyst (demo/upgrade)
The Kinemetrics Strong Motion Analyst program is used to process strong motion accelerogram records. SMA can be used to read data from Altus series EVT files, from ASCII file input, or from CDMG or USGS format V1, V2, or V3 files. SMA provides:
- Editing of EVT file time series data, allowing for both insertion of data at the beginning and end of the file, or deletion of data from the beginning or end of the file.
- Functions for AVD processing which includes instrument and baseline correction.
- Spectral processing.

Kinemetrics K2CROP Utility for Windows™:
This software allows you to read a large EVT file in (up to 48 hours, 18 channels at 250sps), view and edit it down (crop it) and resave it as a smaller EVT file. Primary application is for aftershock studies. Users can record a long EVT file (e.g.: keyboard trigger and keyboard detrigger the next day), then replace the PCMCIA card and use this utility to find and extract what's interesting.
There is no manual - Only context sensitive ToolTips.  The Altus Monitor Manual, 302219, Appendix A contains an expanded definition of the EVT file structure..

Kinemetrics Altus Auto Editor™:
This software is used to allow the user automatically perform mass edits on groups of EVT files to correct limited numbers of parameters on files.
The particular situation where the need occurs is when a customer has many files from a group of recorders that have errors in the header, that can be caused by wrong entry of information by the user (e.g. sensor parameters), or introduced by the recorder (e.g. instrument coordinates).
There is no manual - Only context sensitive ToolTips.  The Altus Monitor Manual, 302219, Appendix A contains an expanded definition of the EVT file structure..

Being written in Java and using a platform independent installer, File Assistant can run on a variety of computer platforms including Windows, Linux, and Sun MicroSystems' Solaris Operating System. Altus to COSMOS Converter™
The purpose of the program is to convert Kinemetrics EVT files to COSMOS v1.20 format.

K2COSMOS is written in Java and is supplied with an installer that installs the program as well as the supporting documentation, configuration files and supporting software. Being written in Java and using a platform independent installer, K2COSMOS can run on a variety of computer platforms including Windows, Linux, and Sun MicroSystems' Solaris Operating System.

K2COSMOS is executed as a command line program so that it can be executed from batch files or automatically from higher level processing programs. There is no significant user interface.

K2SAC - EVT to SAC Converter
The purpose of the program is to convert Kinemetrics EVT files to SAC2000 format.

K2SAC is written in Java and is supplied with an installer that installs the program as well as the supporting documentation, configuration files and supporting software. Being written in Java and using a platform independent installer, K2SAC can run on a variety of computer platforms including Windows, Linux, and Sun MicroSystems' Solaris Operating System.

K2SAC is provided in two versions:
- K2SAC is executed as a command line program so that it can be executed from batch files or automatically from higher level processing programs. There is no significant user interface.

- K2SACGUI is a GUI interface program that allows easy navigation through your file systems and/or network providing simple conversion of single EVT files or a directory tree of many EVT files.

Kinemetrics KAlign Software
This program processes a group of EVT files and sorts them into association groups, creating directories for closely spaced files in a parallel output directory. Files within a closely spaced group - e.g. have start times within one second of each other - are grouped into a common directory, have the unit serial numbers prepended to the file names, and are trimmed to have the exact same start time. This program has been tested under Windows Vista.
